The Story
Antonia Macrides and Paul Burley met whilst working for a large Australian Recruitment firm. Both founding Directors had come from a background of Executive Search in the U.K recruiting initially in Finance, I.T, Technology Risk and both had created a strong brand in the Strategic Procurement industry. Frustrated by the ‘one size fits all’ recruitment philosophy used by many large recruitment firms and a sales focus instead of a customer service consultative approach – Paul and Antonia made a decision to create a contemporary recruitment business. A business recognising that Talent Markets are becoming more specialised – and vertical markets should be supported with a specialist recruitment service and career management platform. The business came into being in 2005 as a partnership with Strategic Procurement Technology specialists BOMweb Pty Ltd.
Vertical Talent has sought to raise the bar in recruitment and since our launch have become a preferred provider to a range of international and local organisations. The Vertical Talent team have worked internationally and managed successful Search and Advertising recruitment campaigns in U.K, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, India and Australia.
