With three large scale recruitment projects, this highly consultative, bespoke process, involved the management of over 2,500 applications from both internal and external candidates.
Due to our success, Vertical Talent was further tasked with the restructure in the Logistics and Supply Chain divisions and establishing a new Contract Management department within Sydney Trains.
Vertical Talent has partnered with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy for over six years, providing support to multiple departments and across various business transformations.
As part of a Ausgrid’s procurement and logistics transition program, Vertical Talent was engaged to recruit a number of short term contract roles including recruitment of a Business Coaches, Change Leaders, Business Analysts and Commercial Specialists.
This transition program required immediately available and highly qualified talent to roll out the continuous improvement project which would drive a robust procurement structure throughout the organisation.
In line with LaTrobe’s new procurement strategy, Vertical Talent recruited a Director of Procurement and transitioned the department to a strategic procurement model. We sourced passive talent, managed internal candidates, designed interview questions, performed face to face short listings, facilitated panel interviews and conducted comprehensive background checking.
During phase two, Vertical Talent worked closely with the newly appointed Director of Procurement to recruit two category management roles.
By utilising case studies as an additional layer to asses candidates and introduce them to key internal stakeholders, true value-add was delivered resulting in the perfect talent being placed where required.
